Location: Uppingham SchoolThe course is appropriate for all football players since participants will be split by age and ability. It is therefore ideal for those who want to learn more about the sport, or who wish to refine their skills both technically and tactically. The focus of the camps will be the development of core skills including passing, dribbling, elimination skills and defensive skills through fun, exciting practices and game play. There will also be the opportunity for competitive game play to improve decision making skills and game awareness and understanding.
Course Specific Items to Bring to Uppingham
Sports equipment is provided, but participants may bring their own if they have them. Please clearly mark all items and clothing with your child’s name.
- Plenty of liquid refreshment (plastic sports bottle - no glass)
- Appropriate sports clothing and trainers, boots and shin pads
- Sun cream and a hat
- Packed lunch for non-residential students
Non-residential Registration10.00am at the Middle Pavilion (number 60 on the School Map). Collection will be at 4.00pm from the same place.
Residential Summer Course Registration6.30pm - 7.30pm on Sunday evening before the course starts. Students should register at the boarding house in which they are staying. These arrangements will be confirmed nearer the time. A light supper of sandwiches and cakes will be served on arrival on Sunday evening. Please notify us of any special dietary requirements using the Parental Consent Form.
