5330421 Technowiz Week - Raspberry Pi-oneers Advanced - New Course

An advanced course for returningstudents or GCSE or A Level computer scientists.
Take your programming skills to thenext level with our advanced Raspberry Pi course. Now that you have thefundamental computer programming skills, you can create exciting new productsthat incorporate multiple electronics and features.
Please note: Whilst the fundamental skills covered on thiscourse are the same as those covered on the beginner course, it is expectedthat the participants will have some prior experience through school, personalexperience or having taken part in a Raspberry Pi-oneers course in a previousyear.
Please check what is covered on thebeginner course and if you feel comfortable with the fundamental programmingskills then this is the course for you. If you have any questions, pleaseforward them to the Summer School Office.
Course cost includes a Raspberry Pi,and participants will all be able to take home their own device at the end ofthe course.
Checklist of Course Specific Items to Bring to Uppingham
Please ensure that all clothing and all other equipment (laptops or phones) are CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE STUDENT'S NAME
- Notebook and pencil
- Clothing - daytime clothing should be comfortable and casual.
- Non-Residential students should bring a packed lunch each day. Squash and water will be provided at break times.
- Non-Residential Students
Daily registration 8.45am - 9.00am in the Leonardo Centre (Number 7 on the School Map). Collection will be at 5.00pm daily in the same place.
- Residential Students
6.30pm - 7.30pm on Sunday evening prior to the course. Students should register at the boarding house in which they are staying (this will be confirmed nearer the time). A light supper of sandwiches and cakes will be served on arrival on Sunday evening. Please notify us of any special dietary requirements using the Parental Consent Form.
