Uppingham Summer School is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This privacy policy explains how we use the information we collect about you from our website, how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information and procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.

1. The information we collect and how we use it
1.1 In some areas of our website, we ask you to provide information that will enable us to ensure that you or your child have a fulfilling, safe and happy experience with us, and so that we can communicate with you about your booking and future courses we might offer. We ask you to give us your name, email address, and other contact information, and if you are booking a course for your child, will ask for information such as their name, date of birth and any medical, disability or dietary information that might be relevant to their stay with us.  We will also ask for contact details for two people to  contact in the event of an emergency.
1.2 We use information held about you or your child in the following ways:
To provide you with information on the courses that you have booked with us or other courses we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes;
To ensure that course tutors and residential pastoral and welfare staff are able to provide the best possible care for your child whilst they are in our care;
To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;
To notify you about changes to our service.
1.3 We may share information about your child with tutors and residential pastoral and welfare staff. We will not share your information with any other third party outside Uppingham School.
1.4 We may share contact details of children attending Uppingham Summer School courses with the Uppingham School Admissions Department.
2. Our use of cookies and other information gathering technologies

We have in place a full range of technical and security procedures, including the latest firewall technology and browser certification encryption, in order that we protect your interests in relation to privacy and your personal information.
3.2. Personal information is all kept confidential, and is stored securely.  Booking forms are destroyed after 24 months; Medical Consent Forms are destroyed at the end of each Uppingham Summer School course. 

4. Updating your details
4.1.
